The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has put our international cooperation projects on hold. Although the end of the pandemic is still far away, there is good news regarding our cooperation with Chinese vocational colleges. The first and second online teacher training projects between Lentiz and China Yangling Vocational and Technical College has been successfully completed in August and October 2020 respectively.

This online teacher training project is undoubtedly a new challenge for our international cooperation. As we all know, in the past our international cooperation projects were conducted in the form of face-to-face teaching. This time we adopted the method of online teaching. Our teachers walked into the experimental field in the greenhouse and recorded the practical content by video recording. Then our teachers explained the content of the video during online lectures. We have also set up a Q&A session. After the lecture students discussed in groups and completed their assignments. This online teacher training project is a new initiative of Lentiz international during this tough period.

The first and second online teacher training project with the Department of Horticulture of Yangling Vocational and Technical College has achieved the expected purpose and satisfying results.  The third training will be taken place in April 2021. The online teacher training of Zhejiang Taizhou Vocational College of Science is ongoing. Shanghai Vocational College of Agriculture and Forestry is also willing to carry out an online teacher training with us. We hope to continue to cooperate with more partner colleges during the pandemic.
